LEMAN LEADS THE WAY FOR BETTER TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS EDUCATIONS

Exciting initiatives in both Denmark and UK

6. syyskuuta

Recently, organisations, educations, municipality and companies have negotiated the development of new education programmes in transport and logistics.

LEMAN UK has been one of the main contributors to the Trailblazer group which aims to develop an international freight forwarding apprenticeship. This will be a government recognised apprenticeship – aligning the Freight Forwarders with a similar education and learning path of the likes of Denmark.

Only a few countries in the world have a well-developed transport and logistics education programme, which is making it very unique and an important step towards ensuring higher quality in the industry.

“We experience a great need for education and continuing professional development to attract and maintain employees in LEMAN. The industry is growing making the demand for educated employees greater as well,” says Jørn Peter Hansen, Division Manager for National Distribution & Cross Dock at LEMAN.
