LEMAN doubles warehouse capacity in Vestby

In 2018, LEMAN Norway moved into the brand-new warehouse location in Vestby. However, the company has already outgrown the premises and has now decided to nearly double the warehouse capacity.   

“We experience a rapidly rising market demand for our 3PL services and have therefore decided to expand our current warehouse and double the capacity,” says Christer Busse, CEO at LEMAN Norway.

The warehouse in Vestby will be expanded by 17,000 sqm and will be 36,900 sqm in total once the expansion has been completed.

According to Christer Busse, the expansion will create new opportunities for the local community, LEMAN and LEMAN's clients.

“We are running fast at the moment and have had a large customer intake lately. And I do not expect that to change with this expansion, as we will be capable of attracting even more and bigger "fish" with the extra capacity at hand. If we continue to grow, we may need to hire additional colleagues. Vestby is a strategically and conveniently located logistics hub near Moss Harbor, Oslo, and important motorways and main roads, which makes this area highly attractive in many ways. Therefore, we are quite happy to be able to stay here and are very optimistic about the future."

The expansion is expected to be completed at the beginning of March 2022, and it is still possible to secure warehouse space.
